July 4th weekend

"Hello? Anybody there?"

On the left: Miss Tawni scowling at the camera.
On the right: Tori and Jaden sitting on the porch with us, just chillin'. Tori is sporting the necklace that she had just made.
Left: Andon and Brolan.

Below: Jaden had a lot of fun playing on the porch and in the yard. Usually it's too hot for us to really enjoy doing something like that.
Far right: Troy, yet again getting into the ice cooler. For whatever reason, he was obsessed with playing with the ice; we couldn't keep him out of it. Of course, we couldn't keep him out of a lot of things that weekend.
Right: Good Morning Sunshine!
Mom - getting ready to make breakfast - was a little camera shy. (she didn't have her 'face' on) But man alive - those biscuits and gravy were delicious!
Below: Tori, affectionately known as Toe, heard the camera zooming in on her and managed to hide her face before I could get a good picture.

Below: Tawni, on the other hand, slept right through the picture taking.

Above: Toe getting pounced by Troy and DJ. We have this game where Andon, DJ and/or I will pretend to be asleep and the boys will start pouncing and saying 'Wake up!' It didn't start out as a game, it just started happening and it became a game.
Left: DJ's booty. Unfortunately, he had to pack up his things and get back to the valley for work. Lucky for him we took pictures of the fireworks.
Below: Unlike others, Dad was bright eyed and bushy tailed that wonderful July 4th morning.
Gma James holding Brolan. He's the only one of my kids she can still hold like that - and she won't be able to do it for much longer. Brolan is already long enough to stretch out the length of his bassinet. Yowser! And he's not even three months old yet.

The morning of July 4th found us at the park having fun. Here are some pictures of Jaden with his cousin Bryan playing on one of those inflatable water slide things. They had a blast. Troy was a little too overwhelmed by it all to get in and play.

Rather than playing in the water, Troy decided he wanted to help Grandpa put up the shade.
We had a fun-filled weekend and can't wait to go back up for another visit.

  1. I give up! Good luck trying to read some of it - I tried to edit it, but to no avail. I'm still learning about picture sizes, locations and how it all ends up looking and everything. I'll eventually get the hang of it.
