I am back!

I am sure everyone has missed me and the wait has been a long one. But - have no fears - I am back. (To be honest, I am surprised that I remembered my password.) I have been quite busy with family, school, and work. Thankfully, I am done with classes for a few weeks and, courtesy of a few sick kids, I have some extra time around the house to update my blog. My pictures/blogs will probably be completely random and out of order as far as time wise goes but I figure anything is better than the nothing that has been going on for the past four months! So, stay tuned . . . (hee hee hee. I know - you have all heard that one before) . . . I'll be right back.

in Utah

The kids and I are in Utah for a family reunion! Wahoo. We had a good drive up here, making a few unscheduled stops for Jaden to go to the bathroom, and stopping overnight in Cedar City, Utah. We are also meeting all sorts of family for the first time and then some that it has simply been so long that it feels like the first time. The boys are running amuck (however you spell that) with some of my cousins that are around their age. (weird!) I don't have pictures for everyone yet, that may have to wait until I return to AZ, but I'm taking lots of them so keep checking back. Love everyone and we'll be seeing you . . . Jori and family

Shake your booty

*The videos are backwards - so watch the second one first, then the first one.* I got tired of my boys fussing and crying every time they fell or got hurt, etc so I told them to shake it off and we started singing the "Shake, shake, shake. Shake your booty" song whenever they got hurt. They love it. In these videos they weren't hurt or anything, they were just going around the house singing it.

Fun, random pics

One of the boys favorite games - Andon pretends to be asleep and they come and attack him and he starts tickling them and/or wrestling etc. 7/25/09 I think we were watching Aladdin on tv and Troy conked out on his Uncle DJ. All that extra padding must have been too much for him! =P It wasn't late or anything - it was before I went to my parents house for dinner - so that must be what it was. 7/19/09
Aunt (not ant) Michelle and Uncle Josh holding their nephew Brolan. 7/19/09

If I could use only two words to describe this puzzle it would have to be frustratingly annoying. It is suppossed to be for three year olds and up. It took a three yr old and at least four other adults to put it together. Literally. It wasn't that the others just liked doing puzzles and so wanted to assist - it was Jaden and my dad couldn't figure it out so I jumped in to help and when I couldn't get more than two pieces together Josh and Michelle joined in the 'fun'. It was quite the experience. Needless to say, that puzzle got put away for a much later date. 7/19/09

Wednesday, July 29th

Before, I had problems when dropping the kids off at the gym - today I had problems when leaving. I left the gym today with all three kids crying. Jaden was crying because he lost his squirt gun, Brolan because he was tired and I had put him down to look for the squirt gun, and Troy because he didn't want to leave. (sigh) But we had a blast later swimming with Josh&'chelle. (my brother and sis-in-law) Unfortunately I don't have any pics - but we had a lot of fun. At first Jaden wouldn't get in the pool because he was scared of the 'shark'. Michelle finally asked him, "Is the shark going to eat you?" He said, "No." With the sound reasoning of an adult, she asked, "Then what are you afraid of?" "I don't know." =) Once Michelle had coaxed him into the water he had fun jumping off the diving board onto her. Once, he even managed to knock her out of her flotation ring thing and take it over. Troy, on the other hand, wouldn't let me put on his swimsuit with the built in flotations and was balling his head off when I tried to put those ring things on his arm. I eventually gave up and he ran around throwing things in the pool (nothing that didn't belong there, of course) and jumping into Josh's arms. And of course we had our squirt guns! Those were fun. hmmmmm . . . how many times have I used the word 'fun'? I'm too tired to type anymore this evening. Actually, the TV is going in the background and I can't concentrate worth beans. So, that's all for now.

Gym

Monday, July 27th
Wahoo! I am so excited. I lost two pounds this last week and I didn't have any problems when dropping the kids off at the kidzone! Yeah!!!!!!!!!! Troy used to cry for the first little bit after dropping him off but today he just ran in and started playing and didn't even say goodbye to me!

Random cousin pics from 4/11/09

Troy, their cousin Bryan, and Jaden playing with their remote control tarantula at Grandma's house. That tarantula is one of their favorite toys ever! More tarantula playing.

Bryan and Jaden, patiently waiting while the guys (Grandpa, DJ, and Bryan's dad Scott) get set up to launch the rockets they made.
Jaden with his cousins, Tayela and Bryan, smilin' for the camera. Jaden got a little distracted right before I took the picture but I still think it came out good.
That's all for now. More pics later.

July 4th weekend

"Hello? Anybody there?"

On the left: Miss Tawni scowling at the camera.
On the right: Tori and Jaden sitting on the porch with us, just chillin'. Tori is sporting the necklace that she had just made.
Left: Andon and Brolan.

Below: Jaden had a lot of fun playing on the porch and in the yard. Usually it's too hot for us to really enjoy doing something like that.
Far right: Troy, yet again getting into the ice cooler. For whatever reason, he was obsessed with playing with the ice; we couldn't keep him out of it. Of course, we couldn't keep him out of a lot of things that weekend.
Right: Good Morning Sunshine!
Mom - getting ready to make breakfast - was a little camera shy. (she didn't have her 'face' on) But man alive - those biscuits and gravy were delicious!
Below: Tori, affectionately known as Toe, heard the camera zooming in on her and managed to hide her face before I could get a good picture.

Below: Tawni, on the other hand, slept right through the picture taking.

Above: Toe getting pounced by Troy and DJ. We have this game where Andon, DJ and/or I will pretend to be asleep and the boys will start pouncing and saying 'Wake up!' It didn't start out as a game, it just started happening and it became a game.
Left: DJ's booty. Unfortunately, he had to pack up his things and get back to the valley for work. Lucky for him we took pictures of the fireworks.
Below: Unlike others, Dad was bright eyed and bushy tailed that wonderful July 4th morning.
Gma James holding Brolan. He's the only one of my kids she can still hold like that - and she won't be able to do it for much longer. Brolan is already long enough to stretch out the length of his bassinet. Yowser! And he's not even three months old yet.

The morning of July 4th found us at the park having fun. Here are some pictures of Jaden with his cousin Bryan playing on one of those inflatable water slide things. They had a blast. Troy was a little too overwhelmed by it all to get in and play.

Rather than playing in the water, Troy decided he wanted to help Grandpa put up the shade.
We had a fun-filled weekend and can't wait to go back up for another visit.

Fourth of July

I am finally posting about our fourth of July weekend! It's about time! We all went to Joseph City and played around with family and friends. These pictures are from when we went to go watch the fireworks. We went early to get a good spot and had a mini little barbecue. Fun, fun, fun. More to come soon.
Dad, Gpa James, Tawni
Tori, Andon, Mom
Lonnie, cooking up some burgers and hot dogs, and son Cory in the truck.
Jaden and Lonnie and Shari's daughter, Zoe sharing those popper thingamajigs. Zoe was trying to teach Jaden how to do them. Jaden, I think, is now taller than Zoe, but Zoe is quite a bit older than Jaden. If you compare the height difference between Andon and Lonnie, and then between Shari and myself, you'll understand why. = ) (love you Shari!)
Lonnie and Shari's third child, Jimmie (sorry, don't know how they spell it) and Tina, the exchange student they had last year from Denmark.
From bottom going up- Me carrying Troy back after he tried to run off. Troy falling after he tried to climb in our friends truck. Troy looking all innocent (he didn't really have anyone fooled).

Me with best friend Shari McLaws. No, I'm not standing on anything but the ground. =P

Jaden and Troy in the back of the truck waiting for fireworks to begin.
Mom, Dad, Tawni and Gpa James
Lonnie McLaws and Andon Mosier
Jaden's friend, Zoe McLaws
Jaden playing in the dirt.

Random

We are having fun in Joseph City this weekend and can't wait for the fireworks tomorrow! I don't really have anything to blog about so today you all get some random facts about the Mosiers.
In our family, Andon does most of the cooking. He is amazing when it comes to throwing dinners together.
I have issues with mixing margarine and butter together in the same dish. I believe they are interchangable with one another but you aren't supposed to mix them together. On our first date, I was making a cheesecake and didn't have enough margarine and was trying to figure out what to do. Andon asked why I didn't just use the butter to make up the difference, I said I couldn't do that and he added it anyway. Needless to say, Andon had to finish making the cheesecake. (And it came out good.)
We have three kids and our oldest is three years old! (3 and 1/2, technically) Yikes!!
Andon and I both have 4 siblings.
I brainsucked Andon into marrying me.
That's all for now.

When Dad attacks

Dad decided to give Jaden and Troy haircuts the other day and with how hot it is here in the valley, I let him give them HAIRCUTS - not just haircuts. They're still as cute as ever, but it really gives them a totaly different look. Especially Troy.
If you take a look at the candy Troy is eating you may notice something odd.

After Troy picked out his treat, Jaden finally decided on what he wanted, and I returned the basket to the top of the fridge. I turned around to unwrap Troy's candy bar and discovered that he had already begun eating it - wrapper and all. After taking pictures, I returned the camera to its proper place and again went back to unwrap what was left of his candy and found that it wasn't necessary - he had already eaten it all! He is such a chocoholic!

6:00 AM

People may not believe me - but I am up cooking breakfast for my hubby (and DJ) at 6 o'clock in the morning. Andon is getting ready to leave for work and DJ is getting home from work. Yuck - graveyard shift!

Twice in one day!

Two blogs in one day - I am on a roll! These are my boys. The first pic, left to right, is Jaden, DJ, and Troy. Pic was taken on March 6, 2009.
The second pic, left to right, is Jaden, Andon, Troy, and in Andon's arms is Brolan - our newest addition. This picture was taken on May 11th 2009, the day Brolan was born. I don't really know what else to say . . . so I won't say anything at all.
